The OpenVox gateway can be used as a SIP server. You can create many SIP accounts for your business and install SIP phones (or softphones). The gateway sends calls to the GSM network and receives calls from the GSM network.
LARGE COMPANIES

If you have a large call center or software switch in the company, it is therefore essential to prepare a number of channels to access the traditional telephone network. Expanding the channel capacity with analog RTC or ISDN lines should be an option, but the extra wiring is not so convenient for your situation, so the wireless solution is a better choice. BRANCH COMMUNICATIONS
Deployment of the distributed distribution system on a large scale is very important and difficult for a large company with a number of branches all over the world. All related services and peripherals, such as voicemail storage, directory services, international call routing, and endpoint administration, must be managed by a centralized IP-PBX server at a central location . Each branch is assigned Endpoint equipment to be linked to the central server via an Internet connection for full communication.
However, unless properly implemented, this may leave the remote or branch vulnerable in the event that the IP connection between the central facility and the branch office is lost. In many cases, if this connection is lost, the endpoint becomes unnecessary and all communication capabilities are lost. This only happens if you configure a stand-alone server in each branch and configure the appropriate interface to access the PSTN network.
OpenVox provides a solution to reduce the need for additional equipment and personnel at the remote or branch office with the deployment of the VoxStack GSM gateway. The OpenVox GSM gateway can serve as both a SIP client and a SIP server, so you do not need to configure a stand-alone server to be responsible for internal communication within the branch. Once the IP connection is unsuccessful, the IP telephones behind the OpenVox gateway will continue to be called, forwarded to a backup switch, or connect directly to the GSM network.

SMS SOLUTIONS
The OpenVox GSM gateway not only supports voice calls but can also act as an SMS modem for sending and receiving SMS. The most magical feature is that you can use it to send very long messages up to thousands of characters in a concatenated SMS. It provides different ways to send and receive SMS. You can choose the best way according to your needs.
Now OpenVox GSM Gateway can support 4 ways to send and receive SMS.
1. Web GUI
You can use the WEB interface of the OpenVox GSM gateway to send and receive messages;
2. AMI Interface
You can create your own applications to send / receive SMS depending on the use of AMI (Asterisk Manager Interface).
3. HTTP Interface
You can also use the http interface to send SMS. This is the easiest way and you can use it on any platform.
4. Email2SMS and SMS2Email function
This is an amazing feature to manage remote SMS. You can send SMS by sending an email with a specific format and receive SMS in your mailbox.
