OpenVox VS-GW1202 V1 WCDMA Wireless Gateway

The OpenVox VoxStack Series 3G(WCDMA) gateway is the first open-source Asterisk-based 3G VoIP gateway solution for SMEs and SOHO. With a user-friendly graphical interface and a unique modular design, users can easily configure their custom gateway. Secondary development can also be performed via AMI.

There are three 3G gateway models in the VoxStack series: the VS-GW1202 series, the VS-GW1600 series and the VS-GW2120 series. The new VS-GW1202-8W 3G gateway, with its modular design, can accommodate up to 2 3G gateway modules supporting 4 or 8 3G channels and 2 Ethernet ports. It was developed to interconnect a wide selection of codecs, including G.711A, G.711U, G.729, G.722, G.723, G.726 & GSM. With a 3G connection to the VoIP gateway, it quickly reduces telecommunications costs and maximizes savings. Thanks to its unique design, the VoxStack gateway supports hot-swapping SIM cards and 3G modules. Users can simply add or remove modules for expansion or hardware replacement. Each 3G gateway module runs an independent Asterisk system.

The VoxStack gateway is equipped with a LAN switch card that enables stacking during hardware upgrades. It supports sending and receiving SMS, bulk sending and SMS-to-email conversion. 3G gateways use the standard SIP protocol and are compatible with IMS/NGN platforms, IPPBX and SIP servers, supporting most VoIP platforms such as Asterisk, Elastix, 3CX, FreeSWITCH, Broadsoft, etc.
